Lavash Cups
Things you'll need:
- Medium size Pyrex round 2-cup glass bowls or any round
oven proof bowls that have somewhat wide bases
- Kitchen shears or sharp knife
- Smooth stones (like the kind you may have in your garden)
Instructions:
It's easier than you think….trim a sheet of lavash square. Hold opposite ends and bring together, then have the other opposite ends meet so you're holding the lavash with the 4 tips drawn together like a bundle. Place the rounded bottom section into the bowl and coax carefully with your fingers so you "line the bottom with the lavash.
To hold it in place while baking, place the clean stones on top of lavash in bowl at the bottom. This will weigh it down and keep the shape of the bowl. The ends will take on their own graceful folds. Bake on a cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 4-8 minutes until slightly browned. Let cool.
Fill these lovely hardened shells with your choice of: Chili Chicken, turkey salad or even cooked fruits as a dessert item.
